Memorial Day Service

Our annual Memorial Day Service was held on Monday, May31st at 10:30 a.m. in the center of Mount Annville Cemetery. This year’s speaker was our Post Chaplain, William McEllroy, and our Master of Ceremonies was COL. Richard Baylor, USP&FO for Pennsylvania. An honor guard from the 28th Finance Bn. provided the salute to the dead, and the Washington Band from Annville provided the patriotic music. The weather was beautiful and we were able to conduct the service outdoors. We thank all who came to honor our fellow countrymen and women who paid for our freedom with their lives, and we thank all who assisted in putting this program together.

If anyone has pictures of the service or parade they would like to share with others, please email them to us at post559_admin@post559.org

Virtual Vietnam War Wall

Someone spent a lot of time on this and it is truly remarkable. The link below is a virtual wall of all those lost during the Vietnam War with the names, bio’s and other information of our lost comrades. It is a very interesting link, and those who served in that time frame and/or lost friends or family can look them up on this site. Pass it on to other veterans who you think would like this.

First click on a state, then when it opens, a name, then it should show you a picture of the person or at least his bio and medals.
